Single Dental Implant (Case 2)

A female patient in her early 50’s had an accident as a teenager damaging her front tooth. The tooth had been root filled at the time and had lasted many years. However a problem with the root developed and the tooth needed to be removed. The implant was placed (by another dentist) and a temporary crown was immediately placed. The implant was allowed to integrate with the patients’ bone, then the final crown was placed by me. Care was taken to develop the shape of the gum around the neck of the tooth so the tooth was well ‘framed’ and matched the shape of the adjacent front tooth.

Two Single Dental Implants (Case 2)

A lady in her 80’s had lost two crowns on her upper left jaw. She had little bone to support one of the implants so a simple sinus procedure was undertaken to ultimately increase the amount of bone around the implant. A linked bridge was made for additional support.

Multiple Dental Implants

Lady in mid fifties involved in a traffic accident. She lost two existing bridges, one either side of her upper jaw. She had three implants placed on her upper right jaw supporting a three-toothed bridge and a single crown, and two on the left, supporting a two-toothed bridge. She had insufficient bone to support one of the implants, so a sinus lift procedure was performed to gain additional bone.

Guided Dental Surgery Implant

A male patient early 50’s, had lost his front teeth in a sporting accident about 30 years previously. He had been wearing a removable denture for this time. The patient requested a non removable solution. The implants had to be placed very precisely to engage the remaining bone. So a special guide was made with a CT scan to allow for accurate implant placement. Two implants were placed with two crowns on top.

Two Dental Implants With Bridge On Top

A lady in her early 40’s with a great smile, but her lower right back teeth had been so heavily restored, they kept breaking. We spent some time trying to restore what was left, but ultimately the last three back teeth were removed. Two implants were placed and a three-toothed bridge was fitted on top restoring her smile.
