Facial Aesthetics

Facial Aesthetics and Skincare:

From around the age of 25 years collagen and elastin production starts to decrease. This causes the skin to loose elasticity and support. The signs are ageing start to appear and wrinkle, hollowness start to appear.

Depending the severity, treatment options can range from anti-wrinkle injections, dermal filler or skin boosters. We provide these treatments at Complete Dentistry and many people have a combination of treatments to provide support and a rejuvenated look.

In addition it is important that a person has good skin care regime to help the skin remain healthy and prevent the skin ageing process accelerating. We provide medical grade skin regime that can be a standalone treatment or to complement any treatment provided.

It is recommended you book in for a consultation to discuss what can be done to give you a fresher look with healthier skin. Any consultation fees are redeemable against treatment if booked.

Anti-Wrinkle Injections:

These injections relax muscles that contribute to forming wrinkles but also the muscles causing tension (migraines and jaw ache). Most people notice wrinkles on their forehead and around the eyes and these areas are the most popular to be treated. However anti-wrinkle injections can be used all over the face and neck to provide different treatment outcomes for both cosmetic and medical reasons. (see photo below).

This treatment is by prescription only so a consultation is required prior to the treatment appointment so Dr. Jessica Morris can tailor the prescribed treatment for you.

The following areas can be treated with anti-wrinkle injections:

Upper face:

  • Forehead lines
  • Frown lines
  • crows feet
  • Migraines
  • Eyebrow lift

Dermal Fillers:

Dermal fillers can smooth wrinkles (soften lines, enhance definition and volumnise the face) by helping to give your skin a supported and fresher appearance. The hyaluronic acid attracts and binds to water in the skin to provide hydration as well as support. Depending on what area is being treated, different types of fillers can be used to create the desired results.
